Vector Characters
You will be creating a series of vector characters in Illustrator (minimum of THREE, a maximum of FIVE). You will first sketch your characters and then you will take a photo of your sketches to import them into Illustrator. You will use the sketches as a base for your designs, so sketches must be completed! This is a requirement for the project.
Project Requirements:
1. 11x17 AI file
2. 3-5 characters are created that have similar characteristics or style.
3. Sketch photos are kept on their own layer so Mr. Preston can see the original ideas.
Take a picture of your sketches and place them into Illustrator. You will use the pen tool and shapes to create your characters. You must use your sketches for this step. Keep the sketches on their own layer and lock the layer.
